Anastomosis I & II
2021 — Solo Exhibitions
CC Gallery, Malmö / Cozmo Gallery, Lund

These two exhibitions continued a series of drawings and formal studies centered around connection, growth, and transformation.

Many of the works originated from observations of natural structures—particularly roots, branches, veins, and the form of the heart—but gradually moved away from direct representation, evolving into forms that exist between the organic and the abstract.

The drawings focused on the movement of lines, branching, density, and the relationships between forms, as if each shape were part of an expanding network with no clear boundary between body, nature, and structure.

Alongside the main works, a series of process-based and exploratory drawings was also presented—images that were less concerned with reaching a final, fixed form and more focused on tracing the emergence and transformation of form itself.

Rather than documenting a specific image, the Anastomosis series attempts to follow the paths forms take while growing, connecting, or changing.
